Vietnam is a ASEAN trade agreement country. As of 2010, the tariffs among the ASEAN countries have reduced ranging from 0 – 5%. Vietnam currently holds a 3% tariff agreement with the United States. Through the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), Vietnam will have a further competitive advantage of 0% tariffs with all countries including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan and others.
